Miri Seiberg is a life sciences R&D expert with a track record of research innovation. She has initiated and managed research and development programs in the fields of skin and mucosal tissue biology, resulting in novel drug candidates and successful consumer products (AVEENO, Neutrogena). Miri is involved in R&D projects of active ingredients, botanical extracts, skin health and aging, skin pigmentation, hair growth, dermatology, skin cancer, wound healing, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, supporting the development of drugs, devices and consumer products.
Miri has worked with universities, start-ups, small and midsize companies, VCs and service providers to translate science into product opportunities. She provides strategy and tactics for product and technology development, and offers original concepts to initiate and expand innovation. Additionally, Miri performs assessments of technologies, capabilities and patent portfolios, and provides professional training.
Miri Seiberg received her BSc from Tel Aviv University, Israel, and her MSc and PhD from the WeizmannInstitute of Science, Israel, in collaboration with Princeton University, USA. She authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, reviews and book chapters, and has more than 80 patents. Miri spent 20 years at the Johnson & Johnson Skin Research Center, where she received numerous awards, including the Johnson Medal, the most prestigious award given for research and development in J&J.
